About Kiri Parankirinathan
Kiri Parankirinathan has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of insurance company Operations, corporate owned/sponsored and high net worth individual life insurance product design and regulatory compliance. He is currently the president of Life Product Developers, Inc. (LPD). Kiri founded LPD in 1995 primarily to design and develop life insurance products for domestic and offshore insurers. He is a member of the Society of Actuaries, American Academy of Actuaries and Association for Advanced Life Underwriting. Kiri has been a known speaker on corporate owned/sponsored and private placement offering products and markets. He has chaired several Corporate Owned Life Insurance conferences and has spoken at various insurance-related conferences. He received master’s degrees in Mathematics from the
Universities of Pittsburgh and New Hampshire.

Kiri was the senior executive vice president of Security Equity Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of General American Life Insurance Company, and his responsibilities included design and development of all the insurance products and the systems for the corporate and high net worth individual market, as well as creating a sophisticated distribution system in addition to offering primary assistance in the acquisition of SELIC by the parent company.

Prior to SELIC, Kiri was an assistant vice president in charge of sales/marketing, product development and technical support for large corporations at MassMutual Life Insurance Company. Prior to MassMutual, he was with Financial Data Planning Corporation, a software vendor in Miami.

Kiri has been instrumental in working with all interested parties in successfully
closing several multi-million dollar cases. The products designed by Kiri have generated more than $1,500,000,000 of premiums for the insurance companies. Kiri has designed more than 25 variable universal life insurance products.

Kiri has been providing consulting services for financial institutions with respect to using life insurance in executive benefit plans and investors in the life settlement market. He has developed a pricing formula that would enable an entity to guarantee the timing of payment of death benefit by separating the timing of death from payment of death benefit.
